        Our wedding took place on Sunday, June 8, 1997 6:00PM at the Vizcaya Hotel in downtown Sacramento California. The location was the garden area behind a gorgeous Victorian mansion! The day was beautiful, the sky was a clear bright blue, with flecks of white cloud .The weather (though rather warm) was kind enough to give us a few gentle breezes for our early evening wedding. In the garden area fountains lulled us with their pitter-patter and we could smell the sweet scents of roses and honeysuckle.

        I started the day by getting up and going to my hair and makeup appointment at Roxies in Downtown Davis. They did a wonderful job fixing up my hair and makeup. I don't think that I have ever worn that much makeup in my life. However, they did make me look good. The two beauticians (Carol and Heidi) even had some crackers, cheese and champagne waiting for me when I arrived.

        Burger King Breakfast!

        When I got back home my fiance and I had our gourmet wedding "breakfast" together. This consisted on a quick run to Burger King. We munched down our hamburgers and fries. Afterwards I did some last minute fixes to our table seating charts and the computer we would have on display at the wedding. (We had our wedding webpage running during the recpetion so that people could type in our online wedding guestbook. Yes, I am a computer geek!) It was hectic getting everything loaded in the car and trying hard not to forget everything. We did remember the important items (i.e. wedding certificate, tuxedo, wedding dress and seating charts). Unfortunately I forgot the wedding garter!! Luckily one of our groomsmen, Dave Neilsen, made a quick dash to Victoria's secret prior to the wedding's start! (What a man!) Otherwise there would have been no garter toss!
