In our last issue of the Michael Line we talked somewhat about cycling off and the global nature of your incarnations - that is, your incarnations all happen at the same time, you have only constructed a linear arrangement to give you an ease in understanding this greater part of yourself (Seth fans, this subject is well covered in "The Nature of Personal Reality).
Too help you understand this a little more we will ask you to see your incarnations as a rising spiral rather than a straight line running through history. The spiral has repeating tonalities for those of you who are musical or repeating colors for those of you that are more visual. The repetition then represents a Karmic pattern that links particular lifetimes. You are not subject to all the Karma of all previous lifetimes, you are instead using a set of past lifetimes that links you into your present moment. (Although the information of all lifetimes is available to you, you draw upon those that best serve your present lifetime.) You are also, now, influencing present future lifetimes with your present actions. We say present future lifetimes because like all lifetimes, your future lifetimes are occurring now. Because of separation you are allowed to limit the scope of your present moment to focus into what you call "this lifetime".
Those of you who have practised inner journeys already have the tools to influence both past and future lifetimes giving more ease to your present lifetime. You can literally heal old Karmic Scars by inner time traveling to any past life and soothing that old body as a spirit guide. You can call on your future selves to come to your aid in the present. We simply suggest to give it a try, you may find it useful.
Within this moment you are now making choices in a past lifetime that are setting up conditions for your present lifetime. Within this moment you are experiencing conditions in a future life that are influenced by your actions in this lifetimes. You are not however bound by any of it - you are only influenced. Your karmas are simply props for your lessons. Your lessons are only a means through which you learn. Your learning graduates you through soul levels. The karma is not binding, it simply structures the obstacles. With practise you glide over them.
You will come to a place in your incarnations where you will realize that your lifetimes do not follow a linear arrangement - they all happen simultaneously. You will find a place or a moment within your lifetimes where this will be clear to you. You will have a realization here. Many of you have had this realization many times and in truth we must say that you have had this realization and you are also experiencing the realization at this moment. The paradox is that you do not have the memory of it. You are now experiencing the completion of your cycle of lifetimes since this completion is so overpowering it encompasses all lifetimes.
We do not want you to claim victim of your Karma and past life. This is a mistake many make. You construct your present moment, all of it, including all lifetimes. By operating from the present moment you exert the greatest influence over your Karmas, you are no longer the victim, or the slave, or the subject of your Karmas. They no longer rule you. They are in fact neutral and are created by you in this moment, now. You may say, "my life is difficult, I have suffered, people have mistreated me and I am unloved." We will maintain that you are constructing it. We also suggest that you may want to bring our the bulldozers and get to work on building a new foundation. Your chief feature burdens will not be traveling well. If you say you have practised affirmations to rid yourself of these burdens we will simply suggest that you try another approach. A key is to focus on what you want and not on getting rid of anything. We also suggest to choose your words well, whether in speech or thought. Your present habits of speech are very revealing to how you are creating your reality. Examine them closely. For example, you may have a task coming ahead that you dislike, you may say, "Now I have to worry about my car breaking down." This statement is just as powerful as any other statement about manifesting cars. What you have done though is manifest worry. You may want to change the statement to, "Now I have to plan for safe transportation". This is a much more positive thought pattern than the affirmation of worry. Much will be revealed to you by examining your thoughts and changing some of the wording. You may be dealing with "bad programming" which is being influenced by a past events.
You can change your past this way. If you find a joyful event in your memory then hold it. Joy will find the means for its perpetuation. Some nurturing of these memories will have a dramatic effect on how your life is unfolding. The point of cycling off is one of the most joyful events of your incarnations and you have access to it now. This then leads us to the subject of reality construction.
It seems that the passage of what you perceive as time has given the channel an opportunity to again move into one of the many directions that we offer. As we have said in the past, connection with us does not limit the type or kind of information that a channel receives; whether you are interested in herbal medicine, ancient religions or Pleiadian beam ships we will help you access from the collective akashic record that information which you seek. However, the main body of our teaching is the overleaf personality system which we will refer to when necessary. As an entity this is our primary contribution to aid you in your ascension process. If you are new to the overleaves we recommend that you make a request to know more. By doing so you will be led in the right direction.
To briefly summarize the basics of our teaching, the overleaves are the energetic shells that drive what you call personality. There are seven categories as follows: role, goal, attitude, mode, chief feature, center, and body type. Each categorie has seven types, for example, there are seven roles: artisan, sage, warrior, king, server, priest and scholar. An overleaf set can look something like this:

We have many excellent channels who have done well in categorizing and organizing the overleaves in an understandable way.
Our greater purpose is to help all of humanity move through the transition that is popularly called the ascension. No, the ascension does not mean that you will be taken up in space ships, not unless you really want to. We do not put extra terrestrial contact out of the realm of the reality that you create for yourselves. If you need to travel into space to realize who you are then it can be arranged. The Universe is unlimited in its possibilities of what it can be and beings with the ability to travel from star system to star system are not beyond the common range of possibilities and are more common than popularly portrayed. Humanity will come more and more in realizing this possibility of inter stellar contact within the span of a generation - if it so chooses to take advantage of it. We will say that human kind has received the necessary construction of thought to make it so. The thought simply says, "this is possible, if you think it enough you will apply your creative powers to its fulfillment."
Many of you have noticed how the stories of extra terrestrial races have gained acceptance by the popular media. We will neither deny no confirm that there is a deliberate plot to feed the public with ET information to soften them for a big announcement. We do not want to encourage too much fascination with stories of conspiracy, but we do want you to be aware of the manipulation of information that takes place within the media. Media, in all its forms is more a reflection of chief feature than it is of your truth. The media is supported by your fears. However beneath the hyperbole and melodrama of the media's messages, lies a higher level agenda of essence that is saying, "look at the possibilities of what you can be, you are not an isolated, limited being on a small rock of a planet in a cold, dark Universe." This message, which relates to the increased awareness of possible extra terrestrial life, can be included among the many messages that essence is bringing to you to guide you through the ascension process.
Essence is by far creative in it's nature. We will say its most basic reward is its opportunity to individualize itself, make choice and be a participant in creating the universe. What we have to say here is important - essence must move. It cannot remain static. Essence will not stay still for you. The ascension is a doorway for essence to become more of you and if you are not opening your doorway then it may be forced open for you. We will say here, in no uncertain terms, that the expansion of the universe is the creative drive of essence. You cannot resist, for very long that is.
Your energy is dynamic; your doors are opening and it may or may not be a rough ride depending on your acceptance of it. In the next issue we will offer you some tips to make this acceptance somewhat easier. We can also call these tips an ascension mind frame. Most of you of course have already established a system for navigating the ascension. You have developed affirmations, meditations, rituals, prayers, and beliefs that are now helping body and personality channel the energy of essence. You may however find some amusement in comparing the following with your own.
Keep an open mind.
We recommend that you keep an open mind. Many possibilities are being testing by personality such as the idea of extra-terrestrial contact. We suggest that you keep your skeptic at bay somewhat while not allowing yourself to be carried away by fantasy. Both fantasy and skepticism have a place but we recommend that you simply keep an open mind. Whatever idea comes your way, see it as a possibility. Since you do not have to act upon any idea it will not affect you. Since it can not affect you need not block or dismiss it. Remember that it is only information. Also, and more importantly, remember that with the rising vibration of consciousness your ability to discern truth - intuitively - is becoming much stronger.
As we have said before, keeping an open mind will allow the flow essence to be eventually translated into usable information. The idea for a clean source of energy may just come from an idea about an inter-dimensional traveler. What is important is not the traveler but the new energy system. If you close your mind you will close the channels that make this translation.
Do what you want rather than what you think you should be doing.
This is more difficult than it seems especially if doing what you think you should be doing is really what you want to do. You may also constantly vacillate in uncertainty or you may be one who says, "well if I do what I really want to do it will bring all sorts of trouble to me." We recommend that you spend some time evaluating what it is you really want to do, especially when it comes time to make a decision. Look at the fears that are holding you back from what you want to do. Ask yourself if you are looking at things you really want to do or if they are shoulds. Then perhaps you are happy doing what you have been doing all along - congratulations, you are way ahead in the game. Continually check your feelings about what you are doing. You may be making sandwiches for a group of children and while doing so you realize you have found the source of your being. Also note, you are most likely doing exactly what you want to do.
Watch yourself judging.
No matter what you are judging you are always judging yourself. Essence cannot judge you or anybody else; essence simply accepts the offerings of your experience. If you find yourself judging others then realize you are being to hard on yourself. Essence may need you to be the way you are, right now, with all your perceived and invented faults. By relaxing the judgements you give essence some room in your house of personal reality.
Notice when you are feeling your best.
When you are feeling your best, emotionally, mentally and physically you are providing essence with the ideal playground in the physical plane. This feelings can have a life of their own. By noticing them you acknowledge them, by acknowledging them you show the appreciation and they respond in turn by expanding. We have said again and again - by putting your attention of something you give it energy, when you give energy it thrives.
Pay attention to the small details.
You may be entertaining a glorious future for yourself but there is nothing more glorious than the present moment. Within the moment you are closest to essence. Essence is not some far away being in another galaxy, she is simply the whole of your being. She is in your future, she is in your past, but most of all she is in your present. You will find her in the present moment. She has been with you all along. We will ask you then, if you are in a situation that is detestable to you and your mind wanders away to create another reality, bring yourself back to the present and ask to make a change. To essence your entire life is glorious even the smallest most mundane event.
Pay attention to your friends, family, acquaintances, people you don't know and those you would rather avoid.
They are all moving along and they all need your support. Some have not developed the tools to aid the rapid expansion of consciousness that is happening now. You are all in it together (we are too by the way and again, we thank you for the help you are giving us in our own evolution). If they want your help they will ask. If they ask, help them. This is your service and this will clear away Karma. Remember also that people have in their own way created their present situations. They may not want any interference. You don't have to go searching for service, there is plenty close to home.
You are only aware of a small portion of your total self any given time.
Everyone has her own government of lower and higher selves which aid in creating your reality. This includes all parallels and all past and future lifetimes. Even past and future cycles are included in the pantheon of selves. You are a multifaceted being.
Adjustments are constantly being made to aid you in your ascension process. Trust the changes that are going on in your life. There are parts of you who are well aware of everything and everyone that you are and they work accordingly to move you through your physical plane experience matrix. (By the way, when any of you take on a spirit guide, you include the "personality" of the guide into your totality of the selves. In that respect your spirit guides are not separate from you but the are a part of you.)
QUESTION:
In a recent discussion about ETs and karma, the question was asked would ETs who were purely instinctive in their makeup generate any karma by, say, eating human beings? I figure karma is generated when any kind of attachment is generated but is there more to it than that? If I stay mad at someone I have generated a negative attachment. If I stay mad at the ET for having me for dinner as the main course, but it doesn't bother the ET then I get the karma and he gets off scott free.
ANSWER: You will note the predators act in their natural way, yes they kill other creatures, but they do so out of necessity for their survival as a species. Predators are only following the natural way of their species. They do not accrue Karma. For example, a wolf does not accrue Karma for eating the lamb and thus depriving the shepherd of his lively hood. Nor does the lion accrue Karma for eating the human hunter, should the hunter become careless. When creatures are acting in their natural capacity, then they are behaving under natural Karma which is simply cause and effect. Natural cause and effect is necessary for physical plane life. Karma in nature is non binding. It does not collect upon the ledger sheet of any individual. It is simply a necessary element in creation.
You could call the programming within the instinctive center the "nature" of the animal. When an organism is stimulated it responds according to its nature. The cat nature will say, "when you hear another cat you must protect your territory; too many cats will disturb the balance of your domain". The wolf who is somewhat more complex than the housecat will hear, "your hunger and hunting is a necessary for the perpetuation of life; hunt when you are hungry". Hunting and killing on this planet is part of the natural course of maintaining a greater homeostasis. What you may see in nature on a macro level as cruelty may disturb you but in the greater scheme of things the predator sustains the harmony of creation on Earth.
All life on the planet is energized by spirit or essence, and essence has a part in the creation of life on this planet as well as the animation of life. Essence is very willing to go along with the program and follow the rules of natural checks and balances.
Sentience within an individualized separate being is a choice that is offered from time to time to essence. Essence seeks it to know more about itself. When the opportunity arrives then essence will accept it, even under very difficult situations, such as a cycle as a human being. We have said before that this is a decision made by groups of cadres. As a human being essence is offered choices that go way beyond natural law and this makes the learning experience very valuable. You all now how well you learn by making mistakes - under natural law there is no opportunity to make mistakes or errors. The wolf will never make an error. They only act as their instinctive center instructs them. Sentient beings have moved beyond the restrictions inherent in the instinctive center. They have the freedom of choice governed by all seven centers. (Many mammals have developed emotional centers but they are still instinctively centered; Chimps, Gorillas and Orangutans are experimenting with sentience. They have within their nervous system the potential for seven centers).
This ability to make choice can upset the balance of Karma - the evidence of this can be seen in the present imbalance of nature caused by human activity. Karma always takes something away that must be immediately replaced - but in the game of humanity Karma accrues. You collect it and collect it and then you burst under its weight and spend plenty of lifetimes reassembling yourself. It is through the reassembling of your identity that you gain the greatest learning.
Your attachment then is the pressure of Karma pressing against essence. Essence will push against it until it comes into balance. When your Karma is again in balance you are operating under natural law and you cycle off.
Now, concerning extraterrestrials and Karma. First you must have an agreement with the extraterrestrial to work out Karma together. You will have, at some place, an agreement to enter a learning experience through Karma. If it requires you to be eaten by another Sentient race then this is simply honoring the terms of the agreement. Of course you would most likely be dealing with an infant soul race and it is unlikely that this race would have perfected the kind of inter-dimensional travel that star travelers require. Most star travelers are operating at a higher frequency than humans and are a blend of astral and physical bodies or purely astral. They cannot interfere with your physical plane life experiences.
Two sentient beings then can create Karma with each other, no matter what species they belong to. Sentience is sentience. Agreements and contracts are made between sentient beings. You can work with devic energy but then you must play under the rules of natural law and there is no imbalance of Karma.
What you call the greys are astral beings who are experimenting with becoming physical plane beings. They are quite interesting in the variety of life and they are amazed at the solidity of it. They are basically intellectually centered and have no developed emotional center. Since they have no real physical body then they have no instinctive center. Instinctive centers are bound to the planet. They are like hive souls since they act as single cadres - we have touched on pre-incarnate cadre behavior somewhat in past issues. They cannot make choices outside of their cadre and their cadre makes no choices outside of the contingent (1000 cadres). The fragments have not separated from the collective or group mind. Individuals do not exist and you can only make Karma with an individual fragment. (By the way, there is no eating of human species by other extraterrestrial beings, although there is some experimentation, you have more to fear from influenza. Many of the negative stories you hear come from the observers not understanding the behavior of this species. They may only appear immoral because they are purely pragmatist, and unemotional since they have not emotional center and because the are also purely observation mode.)
There is also a vast array of beings who have both astral and physical access, but as we said, they are well beyond eating other sentient beings. Many of them have very specialized diets and eating something as complex and foreign as a human being would only make them seriously ill. Some beings have perfected a direct energy intake and have no need to eat food. Remember that the astral plane is not something out there, it is simply the next octave up in vibration from the physical plane. It is only your physical bodies that cannot move into it, and this is due to their present vibratory frequency. You will, in future generations, have bodies that can transport through astral vibrations but this will require an older collective soul age and a different positioning of planet earth relative to the galactic center.
On reason that these star travellers do not want to interfere in earth life, or other 3d planets is because they do not want to accrue Karma with the beings on the planet. To do so would tie them to that planet and the beings on it and live under the limitations of those beings. If they are chopping each other to piece like some of your ancestors, then they will have to enter those conditions.
We will say also that fearing an invasion of extraterrestrials or waiting for them to be your saviour may be a bit of a diversion for you. Your greatest concerns are always closest to home. Yes many people have been contacted by extra terrestrials but it is the contactees that will make the changes, not the extraterrestrials. Human beings have the greatest experience here and human beings have the most inner resources for making the changes that are necessary for the health and harmony of the human species. If you are receiving messages from an extra terrestrial, and you could include ourselves in that definition, we will say again, "you are your highest authority".
QUESTION:
I have received three different overleaves from three different Michael Channels - can you explain this? A.F.., Springfield, USA (wondering about the whereabouts of Springfield, one of these most popular names for towns? Well, I have received this question a number of times from different people and felt it deserved an answer - A.F. is Anonymous Fragment and Springfield is anytown).
ANSWER: As one who is one of our students you through agreement on the astral plane are in the process of studying the overleaves. It would do you little service to be given a set of overleaves and not go through the process of evaluating them for personal validation. Without evaluation on your part they are useless, somewhat like being told you are an Aries because of your birth date., although in the case of astrology at least their is a quantifiable relationship. It is more important to go through the process of learning the overleaves through self study than by simply having them by the "magic of channeling". Through study of the overleaf material you will learn to discover your own overleaves as well as the overleaves of others. Channels only serve to aid you in this process. The bottom line is, "you are your highest authority."
You will probably notice though that there is a little similarity in the readings. This is due to the intuitive faculties of the channelers. They "read" or "see" your energy then describe it using the overleaf terminology. Some are more experienced than others but all channels bring in their personal expectations (their 'stuff') into the channeling process. Part of the process means the passing of consciousness through the subconscious mind which invariably influences the channel.
To think that we give channels the overleaves would be a mistake. We do not. We are teachers and teachers allow their students to think to find solutions. Intuitive thinking in none the less thinking. In most channeling there is a higher emotional component that helps to "feel" the "correct" answer. We teach the overleaf system which is simply a way of describing the essential energies that create the physical plane. The energies can be described in other ways and are described in Tarot as well as Astrology. Modern psychology also describes these essential energies using their terminology. We have simplified the description to its most root level. Overleaves can be used to describe all events, places, things and ideas. However, personality is a composition of these root energies and the overleaves are useful in describing the individual personalities.
You will note that there are 823,543 possible overleaf sets. Some are extremely rare or non existent. There are only a few fragments that maintain higher centering. Higher centering is not conducive to chief feature and any fragment who maintains a higher center has no chief feature. You do however, enjoy the higher centers from time to time and many of you are enjoying them more often. It takes extraordinary circumstances to plan a lifetime that will allow permanency of the higher centers. If overleaf sets were distributed on a bell shaped curve you would find about 50 among the thousands that are most popular (not including body types and roles). For example, growth and acceptance are popular goals, idealist and realist are popular attitudes, observation is a popular mode followed by power and passion.
As a reminder it is important to note that one role or other overleaf is better than another. All are vital to the functioning of the incarnational game. An artisan, cynic, in aggression mode, and goal of reevaluation is just as important as a King idealist in passion mode with a goal of acceptance. Both can be interesting personalities and both have their drawbacks.
When given three different sets of overleaves you may find that all three channels are getting one or two of the same ones. This could be the result of good intuiting on their part or luck, but it is probably accurate for you to say that you have that overleaf. Here is what we suggest you do however. Ask yourself if the overleaves feel right to you. Which one fits you the best? This requires a little reading into the material and there are many fine books to choose from. The best overleaf readings come from studying the material first and getting few readings from a Michael channel that you like. When the channel gets to know you better many of the constraints of false personality will dissolve and she will be able to see your overleaves in your body, and especially your face.
Overleaves can be seen with some practise and study. They are energies and energy effects matter. The energy in flowing water will gouge a channel in water, likewise the constrictions imposed by the chief feature of stubbornness will cause the jaw to stiffen and the muscles of the jaw will swell somewhat and look tight. Idealists will have a wider smile. Spiritualists will have eyes that open just a bit more. The cynic may have a sneer embedded in her mouth. Pragmatists will have that deadpan look. Submission will have a drop in the forehead, power mode will hold the lips tighter and aggression will throw their face forward. These are the results of the way the overleaf energy interacts with the body type.
We advise you to take your three readings and compare them to each other. Which one feels the best. You can even take the simply words such as idealist or realist and feel them for accuracy. When you think the word artisan versus sage does your body elongate a little? Do you sit up straight? The answers to the overleaves are in the words. By saying the words to yourself you can feel the correct answer in your body. The words for the overleaves were chosen for their vibrational resonance and somewhat like tuning a guitar, when the strings are in tune you will know it. It is also more likely that what is obvious to you about yourself is the most accurate. That is if you search out argument you are probably a cynic. If you find yourself constantly disappointed by the behavior of your fellows you are probably an idealist. You can easily look at the patterns of your life and apply the overleaves to them.
As for your three different readings, reading overleaves is a process for both channel and student. Channel are only students who agree to work with our energy to disseminate information. There will be so called inaccuracies in most first readings. If you get to know the material and the channel you are working with you will find though that this material will take on a greater meaning that you may have expected.
QUESTION:
I've done a great deal of reading and thinking about the nature of reality. I believe that I create my own reality. I also believe in karma. Where is the line is between the two? Can karma be overcome by deliberate creation? - D.
ANSWER:
Karma is simply the consequences, results or outcomes of past actions whether they be good or bad. As cause and effect, action and reaction, karma is the natural process of the physical universe that allows for the interaction of individualized and organized formations of matter, that is anything from stars to planets to mountains to plants and animals. Karma drives evolution for without the interactions between individuals there is no evolution.
Most beings (individualized formations of matter or IFM) in the physical plane are under the guidance of devas which organize and limit the behavior of the being. These beings (IMF's), such as the minerals, plants and animals of earth, cannot act outside of these deva guided behaviors. These natural behaviors are within natural law and have no moral consequences. The lion does not break natural law by eating the lamb - the lion is well within the law. There may be the cause and effect of eating the lamb, but the lion does not accumulate karma by doing so. Essence who is experiencing herself as lion is more on a guided tour rather than a journey of exploration into uncharted territory. Essence as lion does not then accumulate karma for some humans would perceive as a violent act. In order to play the game of free will humans are allowed to break away from the natural laws that govern other creatures. By leaving the law humans must invent law and in inventing their own rules they leave themselves open to constructing errors that must be corrected (what most people think of as 'bad karma'). These human invented artificial laws are what you may call belief systems and include the idea of good and evil.
When essence begins a cycle of lifetimes she is innocent of any notion of good or evil, she has no concept of good and bad karma, right or wrong action, or even morality. The Universe has been and will always be a reflection of her creative spirit. She is immersed in all that is. All things are seen in the light of the creation of the All and she is unified with the All. She places no judgements on the things of creation. She is them and they are her and they are all of the unified Wholeness. She knows all things belong to the great Whole that is revolving in a circle of play. She is guided only by this circle and she plays always within the circle. At some point in this wholeness she becomes drawn to become physical. It is part of the circle of play. To say that she chose to become physical would be misleading. She simply arrives at an opportunity. You may want to think of how you felt as a child during Christmas. You did not choose to open your gifts. There was no thought of choice. You opened them because they were there for you to open.
Incarnation as a physical plane, sentient being without the benefit of the guidance of a deva is immediately distressing. You have a longing to return to the Wholeness but the point of entry is lost and forgotten. You now only travel in the one direction of physical plane time. Often the being will try to turn around and struggle back to the entry point but this is always in vain. (This will manifest as infant and childhood mortality and is not restricted to any one soul age. Death brings back the memory of the Wholeness and every lifetime has its entry point that is forgotten and lost during early childhood.)
Incarnation in a body brings with it the experience of pleasure and pain. Pleasure is seductive and pain is repulsive. Pleasure draws you into an event and pain pushes you out. Pleasure is like the original entry point and pain hides the return. The intensity of this experience is somewhat unique to the physical plane. Lower astral beings will recreate the sensations but they are never quite the same as the "real" thing. (The astral plane has its own form of pleasure and pain which can also keep a being busy for a long time.)
You can feel your Karma as a degrees of both pleasure and pain in your body. The body is the best indicator of karma. To bring the idea of karma to the level of the body you can say that 'good' karma means pleasure and 'bad' karma means pain. This is how the body "understands" karma. We cannot reduce it anymore than this.
You can divide pleasure into many categories as well as pain. Pleasure includes love, joy, energy, affiliation, and pain includes all degrees of suffering . We will go a little further with this and say that the positive pole of pleasure is love, which corresponds to the higher emotional center and the negative pole is debauch which corresponds to the negative pole of greed. Pain also has its negative and positive pole. The positive pole of pain is sorrow which leads to compassion the positive pole of the Priest, the negative pole of pain is suffering which leads to the negative pole of the chief feature of martyrdom. Generally speaking the positive poles of the overleaves give pleasure and the negative poles give pain.
When you are incarnated in a body you cannot escape the influence of pleasure and pain. The body will always seek pleasure. Your desires are always pleasure driven. The pleasure could be an obvious one such as sexual union or a more subtle one such as a childhood desire to please your mother that now manifests as a desire to please your employer. Notice that when you please another person that your body will often tingle. This tingling is a pleasant sensation and your body will want more of it. To sum up, pleasure is the vehicle of attraction and pain is the vehicle of repulsion.
In their positive poles pleasure and pain will balance Karma and in the negative poles they will imbalance Karma. So what you perceive as bad Karma is an imbalance of Karma. With a great imbalance you will set up a lifetime to bring it into balance. If there is no imbalance than you will not need to incarnate; your incarnation becomes a matter of choice and is done so purely for service which results in love and/or sorrow.
The negative pole require an equal portion of the positive pole to become balanced and neutralized. This is not true for the positive poles. The positive is the outcome of the negative. The sequence is negative then positive then neutral. A positive charge is collected after the negative charge is released. Some Karmic Gaming Systems (KGS) work in the opposite so you can better appreciate the one you are working with.
Now, when a fragment first incarnates she will be distressed and she does not understand this particular KGS. She is in the process of learning it. The power of pleasure is overpowering and she does not have the experience with it to distinguish the positive from the negative. The positive pole can be considered the natural way, and she has been equipped with it already, but the negative pole is the artificial way and she has yet to experience it. She will be immediately seduced by the newness of the negative pole of pleasure, debauch. Since it is fleeting she will then want to continually restore it. The negative charge then causes an imbalance which is filled by the negative pole of pain.
Both are new sensations and it takes a few incarnations to sort them out and decide which one is desirable. It is not always so obvious. But by this time the karma has collected and the cycle is well on its way.
To come closer to answering your question, you have always been creating your own reality and Karma is the container in which you create. You are still the pre-incarnate essence who simply reflects the wholeness of the Universe back into herself. She is doing it now and you are the experience of it. Whatever you do you do so as a unique representation of this original energy of yourself. You are, at this moment, creating everything you perceive including this communication and this is whether or not you have chosen to read it. Karma then gives you the obstacles that make the playing field interesting. Would you rather go exploring in a mountain forest or a mall parking lot? In many ways you are teaching your essence through the experience given to you by your karma. As essence learns from you then she becomes more involved in your present life. She becomes more and more you and you become more and more her until there is little distinction. You as personality are the focal point of essence in the physical plane.
As you continue to take the responsibility of creating your reality the tools of creation will become more obvious. Your most basic tool of reality creation are your overleaves which are the various pathways that channel the energy of the original being who is remembering you. The positive poles attract and the negative poles repulse the energy. When you are in the positive poles of your overleaves you are a clear channel of essence and your world becomes a reflection of essence. To essence Karma is just the basic rule of the game but it becomes understood to personality. That is, you gain an understanding of the workings of your karma and most of all, you pull yourself out of the negative poles of pleasure and pain. You no longer have to work so hard pushing yourself out of some seemingly stuck place. There is no longer a need to suffer to balance the negative cycle so instead of entering an abusive relationship you enter supportive one.
Note that the early incarnational lessons have to do with exploring the new sensation. Infant souls experience most directly without any labels or beliefs attached to it. Baby souls invent the rules. They believe that by strict adherence to the rules they can avoid the consequences. The rules though are derived from the avoidance of the artificial negative. The rules are therefore artificial and eventually cause more imbalance. The rules begin to fall apart during your rebellious young soul lifetimes when the fragments test the limits. During mature soul lifetimes they are busy revising them. Old souls have given up trying to write the rules. They have come to realize it is futile. It is here we find the old soul apathy. Some old souls wear signs on their auras that say "kick me again harder". This is your familiar old soul self deprecation.
The natural rules are always there and have never left. You have them now. They are there for any soul age. Many old souls, when they reach a place of futility and defeat, will surrender. With the surrender the natural rules will become apparent. This has already happened to you a number of times and it is an ongoing process this lifetime. You are in the process of remembering the rules of the game they way they are meant to be played.
Finally, we will say that when you are creating your reality you are not creating things. You are creating a way of being for yourself, or you are creating a way FOR your being to unfold in your incarnation. You are, as we have stated so many time, a reflection of essence who is in the process of becoming essence. It is that process that truly creates your reality. This process is agape for as we mentioned essence has no judgements about you, she is the love that you are an love cannot judge itself. As a conscious creator you become fully accepting of all that you are and with that comes the end of artificial belief systems. The dichotomy of darkness and light, good and evil, cannot support this process. You will see finally that Karma has always been a game board.
